General Details

International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) is an annual individual and team competition in the Natural Sciences for students who are fifteen years or younger on 31st December of the competition year.AYIMI was the host of IJSO 2012 in Tehran with 32 countries.

It has been established in recognition of the significance of the Natural Sciences in the general education of young people and in all aspects of their lives. It is a purely educational event.Edit the translation in فارسی

AYIMI , the Host of IJSO 2012

The 9th International Junior Science Olympiad with participants from 32 countries  was held by AYIMI on Dec. 1-10, 2012. All the problems provided by AYIMI Scientific Committee (SC) and they tried to introduce Persian Gulf and one of the most important botanic samples, Mangrove(Avecina Marina) forests to the participants.

AYIMI has organized Iran Junior Science Olympiad, IRJSO, as a country Olympiad to encourage junior students. All details in Farsi section.
