International Conference on Physics Education GIREP - ICPE - MPTL 2010

International Conference on

Teaching and Learning Physics today:

Challenges? Benefits

During the last 15 years, in most countries, the popularity of physics among students has been low and the enrolment has declined. Different approaches have been proposed to confront this situation, both at school and university levels. It seems that some of them have been successful.
This conference offered an opportunity for in-depth discussions of this topic and for sharing our experiences in order to move forward in this field.
Two papers accepted from Ariaian Young Innovative Minds Institute to present  at the university of REIMS. One of them was about PYPT and its role in physics education and the other one was about different international activities in basic sciences specifically in physics by students from high schools and universities in Iran. The abstracts have been published  and the full papers will be published later after reviewing.  Some parts of the abstracts are in this page.
